The contestZooppa launched a contest about designing a logo in order to represents with strength, incisiveness and immediacy all the key values of the territory of the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, in the Italian region of Veneto. The purpose was to emphasize his candidacy for the UNESCO's Heritage of humanity.
Logo proposalThe idea comes from the harmony and beauty of the Prosecco Superiore’s landscape, identifying and blending all together the peculiar values of this wonderful territory. There is a strong balance between the work of man and nature, a tune that has remained unchanged for centuries.
SketchThe logo was designed geometrically, reflecting the harmonious aspect of the territory. In this first sketch, the archetypal forms of the landscape have been identified and enclosed in a beveled square.
WireframeThe logo has been optimized for readability balancing the stroke of the basic lines.
OutlineFinally, the silhouette has been highlighted to form the main shape of the logo, blending together all the key values of the territory with a harmonic style.
Territory’s morphologyThe landscape of Conegliano Valdobbiadene is characterized by a succession of hills oriented to parallel ropes, with many of valleys, ridges, cultivated portions and forests, resembling a labyrinth of great scenographic effect.
History and know-howThe landscape is dotted with agricultural settlements and rural buildings intimately linked to the history of the area. Man's activity has shaped the territory's appearance harmoniously: vineyards are a real emblem of this area.
(Bio)SustainabilityThe landscape of Conegliano Valdobbiadene is a verdant territory, whose biodiversity is safeguarded and preserved by the man. A wonderful habitat where to live respectfully in harmony with nature.
MockupsWe designed some mockups, such as outdoor adv, homepage website, business cards, envelopes, and letterheads, and other corporate identity artifacts, thus proving our clients how we can create and build up any kind of creative content.
Winner proposalAlthough our proposal wasn’t chosen as the official one for the candidacy to the Unesco’s Heritage of Humanity, it was selected and awarded anyway by the jury of Piratigrafici.net and Zooppa.it, as the unofficial winner of the contest.
